
Kenneth Fredette of Lamoine is an attorney and small business
owner, who also serves as a Captain in the Maine Air National Guard,
assigned to the JAG (Judge Advocate General) staff. His political activities
include working on both national and state-wide campaigns. Some of these
positions included Bob Dole’s presidential race, Jock McKernan’s
gubernatorial election, and an internship with U.S. Senator Warren B.
Rudman. His local contributions were as town budget committee and board
of appeals.
His roots Downeast run deep, having attended the University of Maine
at Machias. He then interned in the Hancock/Washington District Attorney’s
office. He served on the search committee for Chancellor for the University
of Maine System. His hobbies include lobster fishing, where he served
as an apprentice sternman. He and his wife Cynthia have two children,
Morgan and Colby.
